Vistula Vagina Fistula, known as “VVF” for short, is an abnormal condition that occurs in the cervix of immature females exposed to child delivery, leading to the incision of the vagina. This causes fatal injury to the girl resulting in the dreaded VVF syndrome, particularly the “under-aged”. VVF is common among teenage girls in the Northern part of Nigeria.
