The Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Dr. Barclays Ayakoroma, has sent a message of congratulations to the National President of the University of Calabar Alumni Association, Mr. Kennedy Dike, for his election for a second term of three years.
Dr. Ayakoroma said that from the enviable achievements during the first term in office, Mr. Dike has shown total commitment to nurturing the nascent UNICAL Alumni to greater heights, and called on all chapters of the Alumni to cooperate with the newly-elected Executive members.
Dr. Ayakoroma, who is a member of the Board of Trustees of the UNICAL Alumni, assured that the BoT, under the chairmanship of Rt. Hon. Bright Omokhodion, will continue to give Mr. Dike the necessary support.
Mr. Kennedy Dike and members of the newly-elected Executive Committee were sworn into office by Hon. Justice M.E. Njoku of the Imo State Judiciary, on July 2nd, 2011, at the Annual General Meeting of the Unical Alumni, which took place at Dreamland Suites, Owerri.
