For good governance in his second tenure, the Chief Servant of Niger State, Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, has solicited the renewed encouragement of well-meaning Nigerians.

Dr. Babangida Aliyu declared this in a letter of appreciation to the Executive Secretary of National Institute for Cultural Orientation, Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, which was an acknowledgement of an earlier letter from the ES congratulating Dr. Aliyu for his re-election as the Governor of Niger State for a second term.

Expressing gratitude for the personal concern and prayers of the NICO boss and assuring him that the confidence reposed on him will not be misplaced, the Chief Servant stated: “I assure you that I will continue to do my best to improve the lot of the citizens irrespective of party affiliations, tribe or religion. As we embark on our mandate of effective service delivery and good governance for the second tenure, I wish to solicit for your renewed support, prayers and encouragement for our success.”

In pledging that his administration will be an all-inclusive one, the Chief Servant said that his government shall welcome suggestions and ideas for the rapid transformation of Niger State, and reiterated his reliance on the prayers, support and encouragement of Dr. Ayakoroma, as it will help his government to pursue vigorously the development of the State.

It will be recalled that the ES had sent congratulatory letters to all the state governors that won the April 2011 gubernatorial elections and their eventual swearing into office.
