The new Zonal Head, NICO South West Zone, Mr. Ohi Ojo, attended the meeting of Heads of Federal Government Parastatals in Ondo State, on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, where he was welcomed by the chairman, Mr. Isaac Kehinde Faluyi.
The meeting, which had about thirty-nine (39) members representing different federal government establishments in the state in attendance, was the first Mr. Ojo was attending, since his assumption of office on Thursday, March 1, 2012.
The new NICO zonal boss, who was officially welcomed to the forum and briefed on its activities, pledged to uphold the ideals of the forum and work harmoniously with members.
The forum eventually elected Mr. O. O. Olayinka, State Coordinator, National Directorate of Employment, as the new Vice Chairman, a position the former NICO Zonal Director, Mr. Louis Eriomala, held before his transfer to NICO head office.
The new Zonal Head attended the meeting in company with Mr. Dickson Idonije of the Orientation and Cultural Affairs Unit and Mr. Austin Owoso of the Budget Unit.
