The Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, has sent a congratulatory message to Professor Emmanuel Dandaura, the Head, Department of Theatre and Cultural Studies, Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), on his recent confirmation as Professor.
In a congratulatory letter, dated January 7, 2013, Ayakoroma described Dandaura’s confirmation of promotion to the enviable rank of Professor, as well-deserved and recognition of his outstanding contribution to scholarship.
Captioned “Congratulations on your Confirmation as Professor,” the letter reads in part: “On Behalf of the Management and Staff of NICO, I wish to heartily congratulate you for the confirmation of promotion to the exalted position of Professor by the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK). Your elevation to the position of Professor, which is well deserved, is an acknowledgement of your outstanding contribution to scholarship which has attracted national and international recognition.”
Ayakoroma further expressed confidence in Dandaura’s ability to perform creditably in his service to humanity, stressing that he had no doubt that the elevation to the enviable position of a professor, will serve as an impetus for greater achievements for him.
Professor Emmanuel Dandaura is the National President of the Society of Nigerian Theatre Artists (SONTA), the umbrella body of Theatre Arts lecturers in Nigerian Universities and other Tertiary Institutions.
