The new Director overseeing the office of the Executive Secretary/CEO, National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Mrs. Bridgette Rupmicit Yerima has resumed duty today, Wednesday, May 6, 2020.

On arrival at the Institute’s head office in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mrs. Yerima held series of meetings to consult with Management Staff on how to move the Institute forward. 

Meanwhile, the immediate past Director, overseeing the office of the ES, Mr. Louis Eriomala also today, personally handed over the affairs of the Institute to Mrs. Yerima in line with public service procedure, following his recent retirement from service. 

Yerima 1Earlier, while addressing members of staff attached to the office of the ES, the new NICO Boss expressed deep appreciation to the staff for their support towards previous administrations and urged them to do more. 

Her words “I want to thank each of you for the support you have given to this office and to previous Executive Secretaries. Without you, the office would not have moved on smoothly, so you have done a good job and I hope you will extend the same to me”, she said.
