altDeath, for all mortals, is an inevitable passage to the land beyond, in spite of the fact that it is difficult to console anyone that loses his or her loved one.

This was the crux of a condolence message by the Executive Secretary, National Institute for cultural Orientation (NICO), Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, at the burial of Late Miss Ayokunu Fasikun of the Finance/Account Department, NICO Headquarters, Abuja, who died at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), Kwara State, during the early hours of Friday, 5th July, 2013.

Dr. Ayakoroma, who was represented at the funeral by NICO North-Central Zonal Coordinator, Mr. Ibrahim Lawal, described the late Miss Fasikun as a dedicated, obedient and hardworking staff, adding that she will be greatly missed by the Institute.

Responding on behalf of the family, elder sister to the deceased, Mrs. Yemi Obayemi, expressed the profound gratitude of the family to the Management and Staff of NICO, for sharing in their moment of grief, in spite of the short notice of the burial, and that with the kind of leadership responsive to the welfare of its staffers, it clearly showed that her late sister belonged to a very good family.

The Zonal Coordinator was accompanied by staffers from the zone that had all assembled at Mubo Cemetery, Ilorin, at about 3.30pm to bid their colleague, Miss Ayo Fasikun, good-bye.
