The Executive Secretary, National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, has commiserated with veteran Nollywood actor and Senior Special Assistant on Creative Media to the Anambra State Governor, Bob-Manuel Udokwu, on the demise of his mother, Mrs. Joy Ezelagbo Udokwu (nee Mbelu). Dr. Ayakoroma, who described the passing on of Bob-Manuel’s mother as sad, and prayed God to grant him and the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The ES told Udokwu not to worry because his late mother will rest in peace in the bosom of the Lord, where we shall all meet to part no more. His words: “The passing on of your mother, in her sleep, shows that she was a woman of peace. Though it is sad indeed to lose those who are very dear to us, I believe that God will grant you and the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.” It will recalled that Udokwu, who is the brand ambassador of Don Morris wines, had announced on his facebook page last week that his mother, whose name, Ezelagbo, means, “inheritable goodness,” had passed on in her sleep, saying it was unfortunate. Expressing his sadness, the Ogidi-born actor had said assuming she was sick, it would have been a different thing, but that she went to bed on Friday night and did not wake up on Saturday morning; adding that she was a peace-loving woman. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Amen!
