The 2015/2016 academic session of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO) Training School, Lagos starts in earnest as students of the Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma began registration, Monday, 8th February, 2016 at the Training School Complex, National Theatre Annex, Iganmu-Lagos.

The Institute, which has graduated over 400 students in fulfilment of its training mandate, is aimed at continuously driving at producing well-grounded cultural officers whose expertise and knowledge can bear on efficient and effective job delivery in the culture sector.

In addition to the Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma programmes, the School is now starting Advanced Diploma in Cultural Administration programme this session for holders of NCE and the equivalent.

Various activities have been lined up to achieve the set objectives, which include Induction Ceremony scheduled for the 15th of February, 2016 as well as other programmes like lectures, Field School/Trip, Seminars on various courses, project and defence to round off the session.

All stakeholders are expected to be on ground for the induction ceremony and subsequent activities and full lectures are expected to commence 16th February, 2016.
