The Executive Secretary, National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma has received appreciation from the Ugwuokegwo family of Obeke Akpa-Edem in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, for attending the funeral ceremony of their wife and mother, Late Mrs. Margret Ugwu.
In a letter addressed to the ES, dated 20th July, 2016 and signed on behalf of the family by Clifford Ugwu, a staffer of NICO South-South Zonal Office in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, the family expressed their sincere appreciation to Ayakoroma for taking time out of the exigencies of his work to attend the funeral which took place on 8th July, 2016 at Obeke Akpa-Edem in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The letter reads in part: “We write to appreciate you and your staff for attending the burial/funeral ceremony of our wife and mother, Late Mrs. Margret Ugwu on 8th July, 2016. We are sincerely grateful to you for being our source of strength through your fatherly words of encouragement during the mourning period”.
The family, while reiterating that Ayakoroma’s presence at the burial ceremony was a great honour to them, further said his presence also contributed meaningfully to the success of the event and prayed that God will honour and reward him greatly all the days of your life.
