Ayakoroma As Chief Host In Miss Culture Nigeria Contest

To show that culture is synonymous with beauty, the Federal Ministry of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation is set to put together a Beauty Pageant with the Executive Secretary of National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, as the chief host


The event tagged Miss Culture Nigeria Contest 2011, which the Ministry is organizing in conjunction with Culture Africa Limited, comes up on 26th May, 2011, at Nicon Luxury Hotel, Area 11, Garki-Abuja.


The programme takes place between 6.00pm to 9.00pm with the Honourable Minister for Tourism, Culture and National Orientation, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Mohammed, as the Special Guest of Honour, while the Guest of Honour is Senator Dahiru Bako Gassol, Chairman, Senate Committee on Culture and Tourism and Professor Bakare Ojo Rasaki, the Artistic Director of Abuja Carnival Management Committee as the Chairman of the event.


Other personalities that will grace the occasion are Sir Gabriel Igbinedion, the Esema of Benin as the Royal Father of the Day, Fatima Hassan Betara, Director-General of National Centre for Women Development, as Chairperson and Mrs. Folakemi Adelare, the Legal Adviser to the Ministry of Transport, as Mother of the Day.
