The Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Ado Muhammed Yahuza has disclosed that the Institute will embark on training academic staff of its Training School, beginning from next month.
Yahuza made this known today, Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Institute’s Boardroom in Lagos, during a meeting of the Examination Board to consider and approve grades and results of students for semester of the 2020/2021 academic session of the NICO Training School.
At the meeting, both internal and external examiners critically analyzed each student’s result with Dr. Daniel Chikada, who is Head of Theatre and Cultural Studies Department, Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) and representative of the University during the Examination Board meeting, raising the need to standardize the templates used in preparing results sheets for the school.
The event which was chaired by the Executive Secretary, also had in attendance; the Director, Training School, Mrs. Briggite Yerima; Deputy Director, Training School, Victoria Overo; Assistant Director, Training School, Mrs. Patricia Orok; Head of Academic Unit, Training School Lagos, Obiageli Nnaka; Mrs. Jane Ofili, an academic staff who doubles as the secretary to the Board; Head of Administration, Josephine Salami; Foluke Taiwo and Moses Emezor.
