HANDING OVER1The new NICO Zonal Coordinator North-East, Mr. Dosu Adeniji, who is an Assistant Director and former Head, NICO Ibadan State Office, on Monday, 31St August, 2015, assumed duty in NICO North-East Zonal Office, Ribadu Square, Yola, the Adamawa State capital.

While handing over, the former Acting Zonal Coordinator, Mr. Hamman Abdul-Rahman assured the new Zonal Coordinator of total cooperation from staffers of the zone, promising that they will support him in any capacity to actualize the mandate of the Institute in the zone.

Responding, the new Zonal Coordinator, Mr. Adeniji Dosu, commended the Executive Secretary, Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, for appointing him the new Zonal Coordinator, North-East Zone, promising to ensure that programmes and activities of the Institute are effectively carried out in the zone.

He appreciated the former Acting Zonal Coordinator, Mr. Hamman Abdul-Rahman, for his high working spirit and ingenuity, the HANDING OVER 8entire staffers of the zone for receiving him with joy, and appealed for cooperation so as to move the Institute to greater heights.

He also promised total change and transformation in the zone, adding that every staff in the zone must work hard in order to justify their monthly salaries as staffers of the Institute.

The Zonal Coordinator has kick-started his duties by ordering the total renovation of the office for effective service delivery before the completion of the ongoing construction of the Institute’s new office building, saying he was uncomfortable that only the Zonal Coordinator’s office and two units had been renovated while the other units have not been renovated.

The renovation of the zonal office will commence on Wednesday, 2nd September, 2015 on the orders of the newly appointed Zonal Coordinator, Mr. Adeniji Dosu, which will mark his third day in office.

The handing over ceremony witnessed prayers for the Executive Secretary and Management of NICO as well as the new Zonal Coordinator, for success in his new assignment.
