The leader of the NICO delegation to Turkey, a Senior Research Officer at the NICO Headquarters, Abuja, Gbemisola Ajibade, asserted on arrival at Istanbul, the historic city of Turkey. She said, considering the warm reception accorded them, the expectation is high with so many activities to learn from the Summer School.
In her words: “I think we are going to have more than enough fun here in Turkey, looking at the arrangements made by the organizers and the prompt response in picking each participant at the airport on arrival which is very encouraging“.
The journey which took the three Nigerians, Gbemisola Ajibade; Safiyanu Mohammed, Cultural Officer 1, NICO North-East Zonal Office, Yola; and Dimgba Njideka, Cultural Officer 1, NICO, Abuja Office, six hours to get to Istanbul was short-lived.
