The Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations Civil Service Technical and Recreational Services Employees (AUPCTRE), NICO Branch, has sent a Message of Congratulation to the Executive Secretary, National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, on the approval of the renewal of his tenure by Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for another four years.
A message signed by the Secretary, Comrade Adamu Ndanusa, stated in part: “We the Union Executive of Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations Civil Service Technical and Recreational Services Employees (NICO Branch) and entire good people of National Institute for Cultural Orientation, wish to warmly congratulate our Visionary, Committed, Compassionate Leader and Mentor, Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, on his joyous Re-Appointment as Executive Secretary of NICO.”
Continuing, it said: “What else do we say to a deserving Leader and Model, than “A Big Congratulations and many more Congratulations in return. Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, YOU ARE A TRUE LEADER. A TRUE DEMOCRAT!”
In a related development, members of staff of NICO North-Central Zone have felicitated with the ES, Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, for the renewal of his tenure, saying, “it shows that it is a rough road that leads to the heights of greatness and the fruit of your labour is sweet.”
The statement, signed by the Zonal Coordinator, Mr. Lawal Ibrahim, on behalf of the staffers, added: “Accept my hearty congratulations. We celebrate with you what we would want to see more of. EXCELLENCE is the only word housing the secret of joy in work.”
It will be recalled that the tenure of Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, who was first appointed as the ES NICO on the 3rd of November 2009, lapsed on 3rd November, 2013, and he was recommended by the Honourable Minister of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation, Chief Edem Duke; and the appointment letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Chief Ayim Pius Ayim, indicated that the approval by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, took effect from 28th November, 2013.
