NICO boss hails Alh. Muku and Mr. Adaji as new helmsmen in NGA AND NTN

The Executive Secretary of National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO) Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma has congratulated the duo of Alh. Abdullahi Muku and Mr. Martin Ikani Adaji on their recent confirmation as the Director-General, National Gallery of Art (NGA) and the Artistic-Director National Troupe of Nigeria (NTN) respectively by His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria


Dr. Ayakoroma stated on behalf of the Management and Staff of NICO that there is no doubt that their recommendation the Honourable Minister, Tourism, Culture and National Orientation, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Mohammed, and eventual approval by Mr. President, was due recognition of their credible performance as acting Director-General of NGA and acting Artistic Director of NTN respectively.


He stressed that the confirmation is an opportunity for them to consolidate on their earlier achievements, adding: “It is our belief that with this development, the NGA and NTN will experience a new lease of life, in our collective bid to give the cultural sector the pride of place in the Nigerian nation.”
