Executives-in-Council of the Abuja Chapter of Ijaw National Congress, (INC), led by its Vice Chairman, Comrade Tonibor Daniel representing the Congress Chairman, also visited to pay homage to a worthy Izon Cultural Ambassador and formally welcome him to the Abuja fold of the INC.
Comrade Daniel briefed his host of the coming Ijaw Cultural Day in Abuja, an event he said is fashioned to further unite the Abuja-based Izon ethnic Nation, and to seek the professional impute of the Culture boss and the Institute (NICO).
Responding, Dr. Barclays Ayakoroma thanked the entire INC Leadership for their thoughtfulness and solidarity and pledged his commitment to the Ijaw cause in anywhere and in any privileged capacity he finds himself to make positive contributions.
Encouraging them, Dr. Ayakoroma informed the delegation of plans in Government circles to evolve a cultural calendar that will keep Abuja busy with the various ethnic nationalities resident in the Federal Capital Territory by their turns.
In the delegation, were the Chapter Secretary, Ebizimor Kolo (Bayelsa); Asst. Secretary, Mrs. Elizabeth Diomah (Rivers) and Legal Adviser, Barr. Sonny Ebiyaibo (Delta).
