The Governing Board of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO) has confirmed Mr. Godson Ordu as Director, Finance and Accounts, following his successful performance in the last promotion examinations conducted at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, on May 25, 2011.
Until his elevation, Ordu was Acting Director, Finance and Accounts, in the NICO Headquarters, Abuja.
Reacting to this development, the newly promoted Director thanked God for his favour upon his life and family, and also expressed gratitude to the Board, Management and staff of NICO for the support he has enjoyed from them over the years.
In a similar development, the Head of the South-West Zonal Office, Mr. Louis Eriomala, has also been promoted to the rank of a director, following the vision of the Executive Secretary, Dr. Barclays Ayakoroma, to enhance career progression for zonal heads to rise to the top as directors.
Mr. Eriomala is the first zonal head to be so promoted to the director grade.
