The Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Dr. Barclays Ayakoroma, has applauded the appointment of Mr. Michael Omeri as the new Director-General of National Orientation Agency (NOA).
In a congratulatory message, dated January, 18th, 2012, Ayakoroma stated that the appointment of Mr. Omeri by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, is well deserved, considering his track record.
According to him: “It is gratifying to note that your appointment has been widely applauded, which reflects the yearning of Nigerian youths for credible persons to be appointed into public offices.”
Ayakoroma further expressed confidence in the ability of the new NOA Helmsman to perform creditably saying, “There is no doubt that with your assumption of duty, you will bring your wealth of experience to bear in promptly and effectively disseminating government policies and programmes to the grassroots.”
Mr. Michael Omeri took the baton of leadership at NOA on Monday, 16th January, 2012, to succeed his predecessor, Alhaji Idi Farouk.
