Maltr. Emeka Anthony Bokolo, a staff in the Office of the Executive Secretary, National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), on Saturday, 22nd September, 2012, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Maitama-Abuja, exchanged marital vows with his heartthrob, former Miss Margaret Akudo Chukwu.

Performing the official joining, the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Christopher Inegbenoghu, admonished the couple to observe all the Biblical injunctions on marriage, where the wife is expected to be obedient to her husband in all things and the husband always treating the wife with love and consideration all the time.

Taking his Bible text from I Peter Chapter 3 vs 1-9, the clergyman charged the couple that doing so, would ensure that nothing contrary comes in the way of their prayers to God, who would establish the union and keep their home.

The couple, their well-wishers and invited guests, moved over to the Raw Material Research and Development Council (RMRDC) Complex, at No. 17, Aguiyi Ironsi Road, Maitama, Abuja, after the church service, for an elaborate wedding reception.

It would be recalled that, Mr. Emeka Anthony Bokolo, in his search for love and companionship, had travelled, all the way to Umunama Etiti Village of Ishienu Amofu Nkerefi, in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State, on Saturday, the 26th of May 2012, to perform the traditional marriage rites, with his heart-throb, Miss Margaret Akudo Chukwu.

The wife of the Executive Secretary, Mrs. Letty Ayakoroma, and staff of NICO staff trooped out in their numbers to lend support to their colleague, as he starts a family. Prominent among the directors present were, Mr. Alex Omijie (DD, Protocol), Mr. Michael Ekoko (AD, Research), Mrs. Jane Anigala (AD, Admin), as well as Hajiya Fatima Mustapha (Chief Cultural Officer, Corporate Affairs), among others.
