The Coordinator of the Gombe State Office of National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Mr. Yahaya Mohammed Sanda and indeed NICO staffers in the State Office have been full of smiles and appreciation as the State Government has given the Institute a new office accommodation in Gombe, the state capital.
The Acting Gombe State Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Yahaya Mahmud Baba, had on Thursday, 27th February, 2014, presented keys to the new office accommodation, on behalf of the State Government to NICO, following the termination of the Tenancy Agreement entered into between the landlord and the Gombe State Government.
Following this cheering development, the Institute’s State Office is being relocated from Checheniya Quarters, near Miyetti Clinic, Gombe, which was opened in February 2013, to another property, a more spacious office accommodation, located at Kasuwan Mata, near A.T.C, Gombe.
The Coordinator, NICO State Office, Gombe, Mr. Yahaya Mohammed Sanda, while receiving the keys, on behalf of the Executive Secretary, Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, thanked the Gombe State Government, especially the Executive Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, for providing a good working environment for the smooth operations of the Institute.
He promised that the facility would be put to very good use for the benefit of the good people of Gombe State and the country at large, as the State Office will be repositioned for effective job performance and service delivery.
