Ahead of the 2nd edition of the National Conference on “Culture, Peace and National Security,” being organized by the apex cultural training institute in Nigeria, the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), the Executive Secretary, Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, will on Saturday, 17th May, 2014, hold a Live Media Chart with journalists in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
The parley scheduled to hold in the Living Room of “Bush House Nigeria,” a radio programme on the Network Service of Radio Nigeria, and anchored by Michael Bush, a.k.a “The Boss,” will come up live at 4:30pm, where the NICO ES will speak on the level of preparedness for the conference, which is slated to hold at the Arewa House, Kaduna, on May 26th and 27th, 2014.
It will be recalled that NICO had in 2012 organized the maiden edition of the conference in Abuja on the theme, “Culture, Peace and National Security: The Role of Traditional Rulers and Local Government Chairmen.”
This edition of the conference, with the theme, “Culture, Peace and National Security: The Role of Traditional Rulers in Nigeria’s Democracy,” is organized in collaboration with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organizations (UNESCO) and has the support of the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR).
