The Executive Secretary, National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Dr. Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma has approved the redeployment of directors in the Institute to ensure the smooth running of the Institute.
This was contained in a memo from the Office of the ES on Monday, 19th August, 2015 and addressed to all Directors/Zonal Coordinators/State Heads on the subject: “Redeployment of Directors/Management Staff.”
According to the memo, signed on behalf of the NICO Boss by his Confidential Secretary, Ama Essien, the redeployment is in a bid to re-strategize and reposition the Institute for improved job performance, as well as ensure the smooth running of all Departments in order to take NICO to the next level.
In the shake up, the Director, Office of the Executive Secretary, Mr. Nelson Ebi Campbell is now Director, South-South Zonal Office, Yenagoa; the Deputy Director/Coordinator, South-South Zonal Office, Yenagoa, Mr. James Imohiosen is redeployed as Deputy Director/Coordinator, South-West Zonal Office, Akure; while the Deputy Director/Coordinator, South-West Zonal Office, Akure, Mr. Ohi Ojo, is now Deputy Director/Coordinator, North-Central Zonal Office, Ilorin.
Others are the Deputy Director/Coordinator, North-Central Zonal Office, Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Lawal, who has been redeployed as Deputy Director/Coordinator, North-West Zonal Office, Katsina; the Deputy Director/Coordinator, North-West Zonal Office, Katsina, Alhaji Ibrahim Husseini is now Acting Director, Admin. & Human Resources Department at the NICO Head Office, Abuja; Assistant Director/Head, NICO Ibadan State Office is redeployed as Assistant Director/Coordinator, North-East Zonal Office, Yola; while Mr. Law Ikay Ezeh, Lecturer/Students Affairs Officer, NICO Training School, Lagos, is now Assistant Director/SA-ES, Office of the Executive Secretary.
The memo further urge all Directors to continue to work diligently towards enhancing the Institute’s status, stating that all handing over processes are expected to be completed latest by 21st August, 2015.
