The Programme Director and Training Officer of the National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), Noida, India, Dr. Rishi Raj Singh, has commended participating countries and organizations for attending the international programme on “Innovative Leadership for Organisational Growth and Excellence,” being facilitated by the Institute, under the sponsorship of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

According to him, the programme is meant to build better leaders and for such attendees to be part of NIESBUD’s global family, who will provide innovative skills in implementing the core ideas of the course, informing that the number of participating countries had risen to 21 with a total of 46 participants.

He listed the participating countries, namely, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Laos, Lesotho, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, St Vincent & Grenadines, Sudan, Tajikistan, Thailand, South Africa, Togo, Uganda, Zimbabwe, as well as the noihost country, India.

Participants are expected to do PowerPoint presentations which would centre on the participant’s country, the organization, his/her person, with a view of projecting the rich culture of the country; and it will also encapsulate what his/her organization is doing as a platform for international diplomacy among participating countries.

The programme participants from Nigeria include, Mrs. Oby Stella Ikem (Asst. Director, Quality Assurance, FCT UBEC), Mr. Aliyu Salihu Madalla (Senior Town Officer, Niger State Ministry of Lands and Housing), and Mr. Vincent Eni (Cultural Officer I, NICO).
