The Acting Executive Secretary, National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Mr. Louis Eriomala, has congratulated his predecessor in office, Professor Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, on his recent confirmation as Professor by the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK).

In a congratulatory letter dated 25th July, 2018, Eriomala, who described Ayakoroma’s promotion to the enviable rank of a professor as recognition of his invaluable contribution to scholarship, said his promotion did not come as a surprise to the Institute.

Captioned “Congratulations on Your Promotion to the Rank of Professor”, the letter reads in part “On behalf of the Management and Staff of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), I wish to heartily congratulate you on your well-deserved promotion to the enviable rank of Professor.

Continuing, “Your elevation to the prestigious position is in recognition of your invaluable contribution to scholarship in Theatre, Film and Cultural Studies and did not come to us as a surprise in NICO, following your track record as Executive Secretary of the Institute for eight years”.

Professor Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma was Executive Secretary of NICO between 2009 and 2017. He ended his tour of service in NICO, and proceeded to the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) as an Associate Professor at the department of Theatre and Cultural Studies, where he was recently confirmed a Professor.
