Members of the Anti-Corruption and Transparency Monitoring Unit of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO) are participating in a three (3) day workshop, organised by the Anti-Corruption Academy of Nigeria (ACAN), the Research and Training Arm of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

The Executive Secretary of NICO, Ado Muhammed Yahzua had approved the participation of the Chairperson and Secretary of ACTU, Mrs. Ihuoma Nzeaka, and Caleb Nor respectively to attend the workshop, organized with the theme: “Monitoring and Evaluation as a Veritable Strategy for Minimising Corruption in MDA’s” at the Anti-Corruption Academy in Keffi, Nasarawa State from Tuesday, November 2nd-4th, 2021.

At Day One of the workshop, participants were exposed to pre-training knowledge elicitation and assessment tests with the presentation of two papers. The first paper presentation was on “Monitoring and Evaluation-An Overview” by Imade Bibowei-Osuobeni, who is a development expert and Monitoring and Evaluation Professional while the second paper was titled “Understanding Organisational Culture and its Impact on Employee Performance” delivered by Barrister Nathan Bako.
